PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inertia block member sub-assembly which prevents an unexpected opening of a door during an acceleration stage and a deformation stage while enabling an operation of a door release handle for opening the door after the finish of an impact event.SOLUTION: A block member 178 is related to a skeleton, and can move in at least either of rotation and parallel traveling with a rotation axis as a center. An energization element is related to the block member 178, and energizes the block member 178 to a first position. The center of gravity of the block member 178 is displaced from the rotation axis. When a force vector acts on the center of gravity, the block member 178 can rotate to a second position. When the center of gravity, the rotation axis and the force vector are aligned, the block member 178 is left in the second position until the force vector is attenuated. The energization element can rotate the block member 178 to the first position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
