PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication terminal, a communication system, a portable communication method, and a program for the portable communication terminal that excellently suppress the power consumption for a radio communication which communicates with a door lock control module.SOLUTION: Position information generation means 26 generates position information representing a current position. The position information is stored in position information storage means 21. Portable communication means 22 transmits a control signal for changing a door lock between a locked state and an unlocked state. Operation control means 23 allows the portable communication means 22 to start operating when the distance between the position that position information generated by the position information generation means 26 represents and the position represented by the position information already stored in the position information storage means 21 is within a predetermined range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
