PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit departure and an easy lifting of a steel member engaged with a structure, making it possible to perform remote control, thereby improving work efficiency.SOLUTION: To provide an auxiliary lifting device 1 includes: a body frame 4 which is used when a girder 2 connected onto a column joint 3A by engagement is lifted and decomposed, and which is suspended by a lifting means; a clamp mechanism 6 disposed in the body frame 4 so as to hold the girder 2; a lifting cylinder 5 to raise the body frame 4 by taking reaction force with respect to the column joint 3A; and an insertion mechanism 7 that remainably inserts a spacer 7A into a gap between the girder 2 raised by the holding via the clamp mechanism 6 and the column joint 3A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
