PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquefied gas transport ship that can efficiently transport not only LNG but also multigas such as LPG, ethane, and ethylene through intra-regional transportation or short-distance transportation and has the function of capability of loading cargoes and unloading cargoes at a plurality of ports, and a design method for a liquefied gas transport ship.SOLUTION: A cryogenic liquified gas tank is configured of a LNG thermal insulation structure with a sum loading capacity of 60,000 mor more and 90,000 mor less, and the structural strength of a cryogenic liquified gas tank and that of a cargo hold loaded with the cryogenic liquified gas tank are structural strengths which allow the loading of LNG or ethane or ethylene or LPG. A hull structure comprises: a sufficient freeboard for navigation when sailing in three cases of single loading of the cryogenic liquified gas tank with LNG, single loading of the cryogenic liquified gas tank with ethane or ethylene or LPG, or hybrid loading of the cryogenic liquified gas tank with a plurality of gasses out of LNG, ethane, ethylene, and LPG; and a restitution performance against a lateral tilt.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】LNGのみならず、LPG,エタン、エチレン等のマルチガスを、域内輸送や近距離輸送で効率よく液化ガスを輸送でき、かつ、複数の港で積み荷及び揚げ荷が可能な機能を有する液化ガス輸送船、及び、液化ガス輸送船の設計方法を提供する。【解決手段】低温液化ガスタンクの合計搭載容積を60,000m3以上90,000m3以下に、低温液化ガスタンクをLNG用防熱構造とし、低温液化ガスタンクの構造強度及び低温液化ガスタンクを搭載する貨物倉の構造強度をLNG若しくはエタン若しくはエチレン若しくはLPGの搭載を許容する構造強度にし、船体構造を、低温液化ガスタンクに、LNGを単独搭載した場合、エタン若しくはエチレン若しくはLPGを単独搭載した場合、又はLNG、エタン、エチレン、LPGのうち複数を混載した場合の3つの場合において運航する際に航行に十分な乾舷及び横傾斜に対する復原性能を備える。【選択図】図1
