PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug-in hybrid vehicle that can exert an effect of improvement in fuel consumption due to plug-in without a decrease in a loading capacity and/or loading space, and does not cause a vehicle to stand by for charging of a battery for plug-in hybrid.SOLUTION: In a plug-in hybrid combination vehicle (1) including a tractor (2) and a trailer (3), the tractor (2) includes an engine (10), a first battery (18), and a first motor (11), and the trailer (3) includes a charger (24) capable of being connected to an external power source, and a second battery (23) chargeable via the charger (24). When the tractor (2) and the trailer (3) are connected to each other, the second battery (23) is electrically connected to the first battery (18). The first battery (11) can be driven with power of the second battery (23), and can be regenerated to charge the second battery (23).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
