PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle air conditioner capable of suppressing power consumption during a mild cooling operation.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle air conditioner comprises: an evaporator installed within a main flow passage, evaporating refrigerant supplied after being compressed by an electric compressor 61, and cooling air flowing in the main flow passage; a heater core installed within a sub-flow passage, radiating a heat medium supplied after being heated by an electric heater 721, and heating the air flowing in the sub-flow passage; an air mix damper 55 provided to be able to be opened and closed between the main flow passage and the sub-flow passage, and distributing the air flowing in the main flow passage to the sub-flow passage and mixing the air flowing in the main flow passage with the air flowing in the sub-flow passage when being opened; mild cooling determination means determining whether a mild cooling operation condition is satisfied; and cooling control means 83 turning off the electric heater 721, opening the air mix damper 55, and supplying the refrigerant to the evaporator if the mild cooling determination means determines that the mild cooling operation condition is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
