PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal sun visor capable of shielding solar light more efficiently.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal sun visor 10 includes a plurality of liquid crystal panels 12 which are arranged side by side on a front glass 8 of a vehicle 6 and a control part 18 which individually controls each liquid crystal panel 12 to shield solar light in accordance with an incident direction of the solar light directed to a driver in the vehicle via a front glass 8 from the outer side of the vehicle. Therein, each liquid crystal panel 12 is arranged such that a high-contrast ratio region accords with an eye-line position based on an average eye-line position of the driver and a contrast characteristic curve of each liquid crystal panel 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
