PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrust slide bearing and a spring pad built-in elastic seal member capable of simplifying the mutual assembling of components while reducing the number of components compared with the past.SOLUTION: A thrust slide bearing 100 comprises: a synthetic resin upper case 110 for inserting the upper tip of a piston rod used for a strut type suspension shock absorber; a synthetic resin lower case 120 for rotatably overlapping with the upper case 110 about a shaft center of the piston rod; a synthetic resin slide bearing piece 130 interposed in an annular gap formed between the upper case 110 and the lower case 120 for receiving a thrust load of the piston rod; and a spring pad built-in elastic seal member 140 for encapsulating the annular gap on the case outer peripheral side while seating the coil top edge of a damper coil spring SS wound around the shaft center of the piston rod.
