PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake swap device of an elevator winch and a brake swap method of the elevator winch by which an operator can swap the brakes in a stable position.SOLUTION: A brake swap device of an elevator winch comprises: a brake suspending mechanism 44 which includes a suspending unit 42 capable of rotating from a position right above a brake 34 constituting a winch 16 to a position over an elevator car 14 in a horizontal direction; attachment means 46 by which the brake suspending mechanism 44 is detachably attached to the winch 16; and a wire W which is suspended from the suspending unit 42 and used as a suspending member that suspends the brake 34 to be capable of moving in a direction where the brake 34 is extracted from a rotation shaft 32 of the winch 16.

    【課題】作業員が安定した体勢でブレーキを交換することを可能にしたエレベータ巻上機のブレーキ交換装置、および、エレベータ巻上機のブレーキ交換方法を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】エレベータ巻上機のブレーキ交換装置は、巻上機16を構成するブレーキ34の真上から乗りかご14の上方にまで水平方向に回転移動可能な吊下げ部42を有するブレーキ吊下げ機構44と、ブレーキ吊下げ機構44を巻上機16に着脱自在に取付ける取付手段46と、吊下げ部42に吊下げられ、ブレーキ34を巻上機16の回転軸32から抜き取る方向に移動可能なように支える吊下げ部材としてのワイヤWと、を備える。【選択図】図3
