PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid electric vehicle drive system including a rotary shaft spline-fitted to a rotor shaft of an electric motor and capable of reducing gear rattle.SOLUTION: If no torque is transmitted, spline tooth 56 of a second rotor shaft 28 of a second motor-generator MG2 and spline tooth 58 of a power transmission shaft 26 return to original states by an energizing force (elastic return force) of a key material 60 and are distanced from each other. It is, therefore, possible to suppress the spline tooth 56 and 58 from being kept in an abutment state. As a result, even if an output torque (torque fluctuation) of an engine 14 is transmitted to a spline fitting portion 50 via a pair of gears (a reduction gear 38 and a counter driven gear 40) of a counter shaft 30 and the power transmission shaft 26, the elastic return force of the key material 60 can ensure a buffer effect.

    【課題】電動機のロータ軸とスプライン嵌合する回転軸を備えた駆動装置において、歯打ち音を低減できるハイブリッド車両の駆動装置を提供する【解決手段】トルクが伝達されない場合には、キー材60の付勢力(弾性復帰力)によって元の状態に復帰し、互いのスプライン歯56、58が離間する。従って、第2電動機MG2の第2ロータ軸28のスプライン歯56と動力伝達軸26のスプライン歯58とが当接した状態で維持されるのを抑制することができる。これより、エンジン14の出力トルク(トルク変動)がカウンタ軸30と動力伝達軸26とのギヤ対(リダクションギヤ38、カウンタドリブンギヤ40)を介してスプライン嵌合部50に伝達されても、キー材60の弾性復帰力によって緩衝効果を得ることができる。【選択図】図6
