PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component for a bicycle which simultaneously achieves improvement of joint strength, weight reduction, and improvement of the appearance.SOLUTION: A crank assembly includes: a right crank; a left crank; and a crank shaft. The right crank includes: a first crank arm member 15 (one example of a first member); and a second crank arm member 16 (one example of a second member) which is disposed facing the first crank arm member 15. An internal space S1 is formed between the first crank arm member 15 and the second crank arm member 16. In the state, the first crank arm member 15 and the second crank arm member 16 are joined by diffusion welding.
