PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress loss due to boosted voltages to the minimum by optimally controlling a voltage margin required for acceleration for overtaking and boosting voltages when execution of the acceleration for overtaking is predicted.SOLUTION: The control device for a battery voltage comprises: a boost converter 600 that boosts voltages of a high-voltage battery 500 and applies the voltages to a driving motor 800 for driving a vehicle; an environmental information acquiring portion 400a that acquires environmental information about the inside and outside of the vehicle; a driving state predicting portion 400b that predicts based on the environmental information whether or not acceleration for overtaking is executed by changing lanes; and a voltage control portion 400c that controls voltage boosting by the boost converter 600 on the basis of a voltage margin according to vehicle speed or driving force required by a driver.
