PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a colliding object from diving under a vehicle when the vehicle collides with the colliding object, and to make a device for preventing a colliding object from diving under a vehicle return into a pre-actuated state without replacement of components after actuation.SOLUTION: A device 10 for preventing a colliding object from diving under a vehicle includes: a diving prevention member 15; left and right torsion springs 21; left and right link arms 26; a lock unit 16; an acceleration sensor 56; and a controller 57. The diving prevention member 15 is supported at a front underrun protector (FUP) 6 rotatably around a rotation axis of a pivot shaft 37 as the center, and held at a storage position by the lock unit 16 when not actuated. When the acceleration sensor 56 and the controller 57 detect collision of a pedestrian on a front bumper 5, the holding at the storage position is cancelled and the diving prevention member tilts to a deployment position. At the deployment position, an extending part 72 of the diving prevention member 15 linearly extends under the FUP 6, from a base end 58 on a side of the pivot shaft 37 toward a tip 31.
【課題】車両が衝突物と衝突した際に、車両の下方への衝突物の潜り込みを防止する。作動後に部品交換することなく衝突物潜り込み防止装置を作動前の状態に復帰させる。【解決手段】衝突物潜り込み防止装置10は、潜り込み防止部材15と左右のねじりばね21と左右のリンクアーム26とロック装置16と加速度センサ56とコントローラ57とを有する。潜り込み防止部材15は、ピボット軸37の回転軸を中心としてFUP6に回転自在に支持され、非作動時にはロック装置16によって収納位置に保持され、加速度センサ56とコントローラ57とがフロントバンパ5への歩行者の衝突を検知すると、収納位置への保持が解除されて展開位置へ傾動する。展開位置では、潜り込み防止部材15の延設部72がピボット軸37側の基端58から先端31に向かってFUP6の下方で直線状に延びる。【選択図】図4
