PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit quick charge upon stoppage of a vehicle while suppressing wear of a slider on an overhead power line travel section.SOLUTION: Sliders 32, 33 are attached to upper surfaces of heads 22, 23 of a current collector 2. The sliders 32, 33 each include a right member 51, a center member 52 and a left member 53 which are arranged side by side in the width direction of a railroad vehicle. Wear resistance of the center member 52 for an overhead power line is higher than wear resistance of the right member 51 and the left member 53 for the overhead power line. Electric resistance values of the right member 51 and the left member 53 are lower than an electric resistance value of the center member 52. Upon traveling, the center member 52 is brought into sliding contact with the overhead power line, however, the center member 52 has higher wear resistance, and therefore, is hardly worn. When the vehicle is stopped, the right member 51 and the left member 53 which have lower electric resistance values are brought into contact with the overhead power line, and therefore, even when a large current is caused to flow through the overhead power line, junction temperature between the right member 51 and the left member 53, and the overhead power line is hardly elevated. Accordingly, such contact parts are hardly molten or welded.
