PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve transmission/reception of power between a battery and a load even when ON failure of a switching element is generated.SOLUTION: A power conversion circuit 100 includes: first to fourth switching elements 21 to 24 connected in series between a reference electric circuit 11 and a high voltage electric circuit 13; a first reactor 25 and a main battery 10; a second reactor 26 and a sub battery 20; a high voltage sensor 46 for detecting a high voltage VH between the reference electric circuit 11 and the high voltage electric circuit 13; and a control unit 50 for turning on/off the respective switching elements 21 to 24. The control unit 50 includes a fault determination program 57 which when the high voltage VH detected by the high voltage sensor 46 is a total voltage of a battery voltage VBof the main battery 10 and a battery voltage VBof the sub battery 20 when a command for turning off all of the first to fourth switching elements 21 to 24 is outputted, determines that the third switching element 23 is ON failure.

    【課題】スイッチング素子のオン故障が発生した場合でもバッテリと負荷との電力授受を可能とする。【解決手段】基準電路11と高圧電路13との間に直列に接続される第1〜第4のスイッチング素子21〜24と、第1リアクトル25とメインバッテリ10と、第2リアクトル26とサブバッテリ20と、基準電路11と高圧電路13との間の高電圧VHを検出する高電圧センサ46と、各スイッチング素子21〜24をオンオフする制御部50と、を備える電力変換回路100であって、第1〜第4のスイッチング素子21〜24を全てオフとする指令を出力した際に、高電圧センサ46で検出した高電圧VHがメインバッテリ10のバッテリ電圧VB1とサブバッテリ20のバッテリ電圧VB2との合計電圧の場合に第3のスイッチング素子23がオン故障であると判断する故障判断プログラム57を備える。【選択図】図1
