PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall surface traveling dolly in which the structure and control are simplified.SOLUTION: Projection members 11 projecting radially outward from the wheel outer periphery are attached to ring members 10 which can rotate integrally with magnetic attraction wheels 7a-7c and separate therefrom. A wall surface traveling dolly comprises separation mechanisms 15 for separating the projection members 11 from the rotation of the magnetic attraction wheels 7a-7c in a state in which the projection members 11 are not in contact with a wall surface W. When strikers 25a, 25b detect that the magnetic attraction wheels have come close to or into contact with a step part S, a control part 26 releases the separation of the projection members 11 from the rotation of the magnetic attraction wheels 7a-7c by the separation mechanisms 15. By this, the ring members 10 rotate integrally with the magnetic attraction wheels 7a-7c, the projection members 11 come into contact with the wall surface W, and the magnetic attraction wheels 7a-7c are separated from the wall surface. When the magnetic attraction wheels 7a-7c are separated from the wall surface W, a magnetic force to the wall surface W by the magnetic attraction wheels 7a-7c is reduced, and thereby the magnetic attraction wheels can ride on the step part S.

    【課題】構造と制御を簡単にした壁面走行台車を提供する。【解決手段】磁気吸着車輪7a〜7cと一体的に回転することも分離することも可能なリング部材10に、車輪外周よりも径方向外側に突出する突出部材11を取付け、この突出部材11が壁面Wに接触しない状態で突出部材11を磁気吸着車輪7a〜7cの回転から分離するための分離機構15を備える。段部Sに接近又は接触したことをストライカー25a、25bが検出したら、制御部26が分離機構15による磁気吸着車輪7a〜7cの回転からの突出部材11の分離を解除する。これにより、リング部材10が磁気吸着車輪7a〜7cと一体的に回転して突出部材11が壁面Wに当接すると磁気吸着車輪7a〜7cが壁面から離れる。磁気吸着車輪7a〜7cが壁面Wから離れると、磁気吸着車輪7a〜7cによる壁面Wへの磁着力が低下するので段部Sに乗り上げることが可能となる。【選択図】図1
