PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly detect a behavior of a vehicle by use of a mobile terminal regardless of an installation condition of the mobile terminal, in order to diagnose driving characteristics of a driver.SOLUTION: In a mobile terminal 100, a vehicle state detection processing section 117 which performs: terminal static-state determination processing which detects a static state of the mobile terminal 100 to calculate an inclination angle of the mobile terminal 100; and vehicle forward-travel determination processing which detects a vehicle traveling forward with the mobile terminal 100 mounted thereon, to calculate a rotation angle of the mobile terminal 100 with respect to an advancing direction of the vehicle. An acceleration change processing section 113 executes processing for changing an acceleration detected by a three-axis acceleration sensor 140 to an acceleration of the vehicle, on the basis of the inclination angle of the mobile terminal 100 calculated by the vehicle state detection processing section 117 and a rotation angle of the mobile terminal 100 with respect to the advancing direction of the vehicle.

    【課題】ドライバーの運転特性を診断するために、携帯端末の設置状況に関わらず、携帯端末を用いて自動車の挙動を正確に検出する。【解決手段】携帯端末100において、車両状態検出処理部117は、携帯端末100の静止状態を検出し、携帯端末100の傾斜角度を算出する端末静止判定処理と、携帯端末100が搭載された自車両の直進状態を検出し、自車両の進行方向に対する携帯端末100の回転角を算出する自動車直進判定処理とを実行する。また、加速度変換処理部113は、車両状態検出処理部117により算出された携帯端末100の傾斜角度および自車両の進行方向に対する携帯端末100の回転角に基づいて、3軸加速度センサ140により検出された加速度を自車両の加速度に変換する処理を実行する。【選択図】図1
