PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in which: solidification of molten metal in an upper inside of a sprue member is time-consuming in casting using a conventional sprue member.SOLUTION: A casting sprue member that is a sprue member 15 to fill molten metal M into a cavity 9C of a mold 9 in a low pressure casting comprises: a sprue part 15A forming a space in which an upper end part is blocked and a lower end part is opened; and a gate part 15B which is formed at a position lower than the cavity. Heat insulation property of the sprue part 15A and the gate 15B is higher than that of the mold 9 so that mold release of a cast product is possible before the molten metal M is solidified in the sprue member 15 to shorten a casting cycle time and improve yielding percentage of the material.
