PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a passenger from falling by instantly safely removing a long fence having a length exceeding the overall length of a train to make all passengers free to pass, and by returning the fence again to an original position after getting on and off.SOLUTION: In a fall prevention apparatus of a platform for train vehicles, a large number of long fences 4 are joined, hoist units 8 of the same number as the long fences 4 are installed at a front surface of a platform, and long straight gear rack rods 24 of hoist drive parts 16 at both right and left ends of the units are pulled in a left direction, so that a straight gear rack prismatic column 7 is pushed up to push up the upper ends of the long fall prevention fences 4 up to a height of about 1 meter. When a long inclined gear rack rod 25 of the hoist drive part 16 is pulled in the left direction, the long inclined gear rack rod 25 is horizontally pushed to move toward the back of the platform, thereby making the hoist drive part 16 move to the back of the platform together with the long fences 4 and stop to prevent passengers from falling. When a vehicle next stops at the platform, the upper ends of the long fences 4 are lowered down to the position flush with the upper face of the platform to enable getting on and off of passengers.

    【課題】列車全長を越える長さをもつ長尺柵を一気に安全に取除き全乗客の通行を自由にし、下車及び乗車終了後、再び原位置に戻すようにして乗客の転落を防止する。【解決手段】長尺柵4を多数連結し、長尺柵4と同数の昇降装置8をプラットフォームの前面に設置し、装置の左右両端の昇降駆動部16の長尺直歯ラック棒24を左方向に引張ることにより、直歯ラック角柱7を押上げ長尺柵4の上端を約1米の高さまで押上げる。昇降駆動部16の長尺斜歯ラック棒25を左方向に引張ると、長尺斜歯ラック棒25は横方向に押されてプラットフォームの奥の方に移動させられるため、これによって昇降駆動部16は長尺柵4と共にプラットフォームの奥に移動して停止し乗客の転落を阻止する。次に車両がプラットフォームに停車すると、長尺柵4の上端がプラットフォームの上面と面一になる位置まで引下げて乗客の乗降を可能にする車両用プラットフォームの転落防止装置。【選択図】図1
