PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve acceleration feeling (feeling of acceleration) during acceleration by properly controlling engine rotation speed in a hybrid automobile.SOLUTION: A hybrid automobile comprises an engine 100, an electric cell (battery) 500, an electric power generator MG1 and a motor MG2, and travels while driving the motor MG2 with use of the electric power generated by the engine 100. The hybrid automobile is equipped with a vehicle control ECU 600 for setting a target rotation speed of the engine 100 at acceleration. The vehicle control ECU 600, when engine rotation speed reaches a threshold rotation speed, sets the target rotation speed of the engine 100 in proportion to a vehicle speed and sets a proportionality coefficient on the basis of an accelerator opening, a vehicle speed, an engine rotation speed and a charging rate of the electric cell 500.

    【課題】ハイブリッド自動車において、エンジン回転数を適切に制御して加速時における加速フィーリング(加速感)を向上させる。【解決手段】エンジン100と、電池(バッテリ)500と、発電機MG1、モータMG2とを備え、エンジン100により発電した電力を用いてモータMG2を駆動して走行するハイブリッド自動車において、加速時においてエンジン100の目標回転数を設定する車両制御ECU600を備える。車両制御ECU600は、エンジン回転数がしきい回転数に達した場合に、エンジン100の目標回転数を車速に比例して設定するとともに、比例係数をアクセル開度、車速、エンジン回転数、及び電池500の充電率に基づいて設定する。【選択図】図1
