PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize weight reduction, by preventing secondary dripping of electrodeposition paint caused when the electrodeposition paint remains in a closed space part formed coupled with a fastening automobile part, by improving an electrodeposition coating property and rust-prevention of an inside surface, while sufficiently securing strength and rigidity required for the automobile part.SOLUTION: A reinforcement member 1 comprises a sidewall surface part 11 and a bottom wall surface part 12 positioned in the mutually crossing direction and a corner part 13 positioned between the sidewall surface part 11 and the bottom wall surface part 12, and applies electrodeposition coating, and the corner part 13 is provided with a swelling part 16 for swelling from the sidewall surface part 11 and the bottom wall surface part 12, and the swelling part 16 is arranged on at least one end of the corner part 13, and in at least the one end of the corner part 13, the swelling part 16 comprises an opening part 3 capable of passing electrodeposition paint used for the electrodeposition coating.

    【課題】自動車部品などに求められる強度及び剛性を十分に確保しながら、内側面の電着塗装性及び防錆性を向上させ、締結する自動車部品と相俟って形成される閉塞空間部内に電着塗料が残ったときに生じる電着塗料の二次タレを防止し、軽量化を実現することにある。【解決手段】互いに交差する方向に位置する側壁面部11及び底壁面部12と、側壁面部11と底壁面部12との間に位置する角部13とを備え、電着塗装が施される補強用部材1において、角部13には、側壁面部11と底壁面部12とから膨出する膨出部16が設けられ、膨出部16は、角部13の少なくとも一端に配置され、角部13の少なくとも一端において、膨出部16は、電着塗装に用いられる電着塗料を通過させることが可能な開口部3を有している。【選択図】図2
