PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To devise an arrangement of components comprising a propulsion system on an inside and outside of a hull to reduce cost by including a high-versatility outboard motor in a fuel cell ship.SOLUTION: The fuel cell ship 10 has the hull 11 that includes a propulsion system comprising a fuel cell 3, a fuel tank 2 for storing fuel to be supplied to the fuel cell 3; a battery 4 for storing electrical power generated by the fuel cell 3; a propeller 6; and an electric motor 5 receiving electrical power supply from the battery 4 to drive the propeller 6. In the fuel cell ship, the fuel tank 2 and the battery 4 are arranged inside the hull 11, while the fuel cell 3, the electric motor 5 and the propeller 6 are arranged outside the hull 11.
【課題】燃料電池船において、汎用性の高い船外機を備えることでコスト低下を図るべく、推進システムの構成要素の船体内外における配置を工夫する。【解決手段】燃料電池3、該燃料電池3に供給する燃料を貯留する燃料タンク2、該燃料電池3より発生する電力を貯留するバッテリ4、プロペラ6、及び、該バッテリ4より電力の供給を受けて該プロペラ6を駆動する電動モータ5にて推進システムを構成し、該推進システムを船体11に装備してなる燃料電池船10において、該船体11の内部に、該燃料タンク2及び該バッテリ4を配置し、該船体11の外部に、該燃料電池3、該電動モータ5、該プロペラ6を配置する。【選択図】図2
