PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar antenna device that can improve observation accuracy.SOLUTION: A radar antenna device 20 used in a synthetic aperture radar and the like comprises: an antenna 11 that transmits/receives a radio wave between an object 14 of observation and the antenna; a translational drive mechanism unit 21 that supports the radar antenna 11 in a manner capable of translationally driving toward a translational direction approximately parallel with a direction bound for the object 14 of observation observed by a radar; and a rotation drive mechanism unit 22 that supports the translational drive mechanism unit 21 in a manner capable of rotatively driving around first and second shafts such as an azimuth shaft and an elevation shaft.

    【課題】観測精度を向上することが可能なレーダアンテナ装置を提供する。【解決手段】合成開口レーダなどで用いるレーダアンテナ装置20は、観測対象14との間で電波を送受信するアンテナ11と、レーダが観測する観測対象14へ向かう方向と略並行な並進方向へ並進駆動可能にレーダアンテナ11を支持する並進駆動機構部21と、アジマス軸及びエレベーション軸のような第1及び第2の軸周りへ回転駆動可能に並進駆動機構部21を支持する回転駆動機構部22と、を備える。【選択図】図2
