PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle lighting appliance which is solved in such problems that it is difficult to obtain the lighting appliance which is reduced in thickness while having a depth feeling even if using an LED light source, and it is not preferable in terms of aesthetics that the LED light source is directly visible.SOLUTION: A light emitting unit (18) is constituted of a first LED light source (11) and a lens body (20). In the lens body (20), a first light guide extension (22) for emitting light from an LED which is made incident from an incident face (21) opposing the first LED light source (11), a second light guide extension (23) and a third light guide extension (24), and a first connecting part (25) and a second connecting part (26) are integrally formed by a transparent resin-made light guide body. By the lighting of the first LED light source (11), light is emitted from tips of the first light guide extension (22), the second light guide extension (23) and the third light guide extension (24), and an annular lighting state is brought about. Since the LED light source (11) is arranged at an upper part of the lens body (2), there can be provided a vehicle lighting appliance which is not directly observed.

    【課題】LED光源を用いても奥行き感がありながら薄型化を図った車両用灯具とすることが難しい。LED光源が直接視認されると審美的に好ましくない。これらの問題点を解決した車両用灯具を提供する。【解決手段】発光ユニット(18)を第1のLED光源(11)とレンズ体(20)とで構成する。レンズ体(20)は第1のLED光源(11)と対向する入射面(21)から入射した前記LEDからの光を出射する第1導光延伸部(22)、第2導光延伸部(23)および第3導光延伸部(24)と、第1連結部(25)と、第2連結部(26)が、透明樹脂性の導光体により一体に形成されている。第1のLED光源(11)が点灯することで第1導光延伸部(22)、第2導光延伸部(23)および第3導光延伸部(24)の先端から出射して環状の点灯状態になる。LED光源(11)はレンズ体(2)上部に設けているので直接観察されない車両用灯具を提供できる。【選択図】 図2
