PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hose connector in which a poor hose connection is hardly produced and if the connection occurs, it can be easily acknowledged.SOLUTION: A hose connector 10 comprises a connector main body 12 and a lock member 14 outwardly fitted to the connector main body 12. Upon displacement of the lock member 14 to its locked position, an annular diameter reduced part 42 of the lock member 14 approaches an annular expanded diameter part 24 of the connector main body 12, the annular diameter reduced part 42 and the annular expanded diameter part 24 hold a hose. At this time, the second engaging part 38 formed at the inner circumferential surface of the lock member 12 is engaged with the connector main body 12 to cause the lock member 12 to be locked at its lock position. When a rotating force more than a prescribed value is applied to the lock member 14 at its locked position, the lock member 14 is broken by a breaking part 49 positioned between the second engaging part 38 and the annular diameter reduced part 42. However, since the second engaging part 38 supports the annular diameter reduced part 42 through the breaking part 49 from its rear side, the connected state of the hose is maintained.
【課題】ホースの接続の不備が発生し難く、不備があればそれを容易に認識できるホースコネクタを提供する。【解決手段】ホースコネクタ10は、コネクタ本体12と、コネクタ本体12に外嵌するロック部材14とを備える。ロック部材14をロック位置に変位させると、ロック部材14の環状縮径部42がコネクタ本体12の環状拡径部24に接近して、環状縮径部42と環状拡径部24とがホースを挟持する。このとき、ロック部材12の内周面に形成された第2係合部38がコネクタ本体12に係止されることにより、ロック部材12はロック位置にロックされる。ロック位置でロック部材14に所定値以上の回転力を加えると、ロック部材14は第2係合部38と環状縮径部42との間に位置する破断部49で破断するが、第2係合部38が破断部49を介して環状縮径部42を後方から支持するため、ホースの接続は維持される。【選択図】図1
