PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support a plurality of types of vehicles with different alarm threshold values by a single type detection device.SOLUTION: A tire sensor unit is attached to a vehicular wheel. The tire sensor unit includes: a pressure sensor for detecting a tire pressure; an RF transmission circuit capable of transmitting a transmission signal including tire pressure information; and a sensor unit controller for making the RF transmission circuit transmit the transmission signal. The sensor unit controller makes the RF transmission circuit perform a regular transmission in which the transmission signal is transmitted in a regular frequency, and a high frequency transmission in which the transmission signal is transmitted more frequently than in the regular transmission. In a storage part of the sensor unit controller a plurality of transmission side threshold values are stored, and when the tire pressure reaches a transmission side threshold value, the sensor unit controller changes the regular transmission to the high frequency transmission.
