PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper system which can achieve wiping operation suitable for a vehicle without being individually designed for each vehicle type.SOLUTION: A wiper system 1 includes wiper blades 5a, 5b which perform reciprocating wiping operations on a windshield glass 5, and brushless motors 2a, 2b for carrying out reciprocating wiping operations of the wiper blades 5a, 5b. A black enamel part 8 is formed on the windshield glass 6, and the wiper blades 5a, 5b have sensors 21p, 21q which can detect the black enamel part 8. Controllers 18a, 18b detect that the wiper blades are located at a position in the black enamel part 8 on the basis of output signals from the sensors 21p, 21q, and perform initial setting of wiping ranges of the wiper blades 5a, 5b with the position as a reference.

    【課題】車種ごとに個別の設計をすることなく、その車両に適した払拭動作を実現可能なワイパシステムを提供する。【解決手段】ワイパシステム1は、ウインドシールドガラス6上にて往復払拭動作を行うワイパブレード5a,5bと、ワイパブレード5a,5bを往復払拭動させるためのブラシレスモータ2a,2bを備える。ウインドシールドガラス6上にはクロセラ部8が形成されており、ワイパブレード5a,5bは、クロセラ部8を検知可能なセンサ21p,21qを有する。コントローラ18a,18bは、センサ21p,21qの出力信号に基づいて、ワイパブレード5a,5bがクロセラ部8内に位置することを検知し、この位置を基準としてワイパブレード5a,5bの払拭範囲を初期設定する。【選択図】図3
