PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a light distribution pattern in which a center part of an irradiation region becomes bright and an end part becomes dark in a head lamp for generating scanning light by an optical deflector.SOLUTION: Division scanning optical system 13 includes: a split part 41 which divides a first rotation angle range of a reflection part 22 of an optical deflector into a right scanning light Lb1 which is a first angle portion from one end angle to an intermediate angle, and a left scanning light Lb2 which is a second angle portion from the intermediate angle to the other end angle; a right side scanning light generation part 46a which allows reflection light closer to the one end angle to advance further on a horizontal direction left side in the reflection light of the first angle portion, and which emits the light as scanning light for scanning a right side region portion in the horizontal direction of an irradiation region; and a left side scanning light generation part 46b which allows reflection light closer to the other end angle to advance further on a horizontal direction right side in the reflection light in the second angle portion, and which emits the light as scanning light for scanning a left side region portion in the horizontal direction of the irradiation region.
