PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship propulsion force reduction device blowing artificially generated gas into between a hull and water compulsorily and reducing frictional resistance of water.SOLUTION: A gas foam film is generated in between a hull and water by connecting a conveying mechanism of gas and a gas exhaust nozzle 2 provided in a ship bottom part by piping, and jetting gas from the gas exhaust nozzle. Amount of gas, conveyance pressure, and a shape, direction, and position of the gas exhausting nozzle is determined by considering a size of a ship, a ship bottom shape, a draught value, speed of the ship, and positions of a propulsion unit and screw 5. Design and installation are easy by using existing technique and apparatus in order not to generate idling of the screw.

    【課題】人工的に発生させた気体を船体と水との間に強制的に吹き込み、水の摩擦抵抗を軽減させる船舶の推進力軽減装置を提供する。【解決手段】気体の圧送機と、船底部に設けた気体噴出口2とを配管で連結させ、気体噴出口から気体を噴出させて船底と水との間に気体泡膜を発生させる。気体の送量、送圧、気体噴出口の形状と向きと位置は、船舶の大きさや船底の形状、喫水値、船舶の速度、推進装置とスクリュー5の位置を考慮し、スクリューの空転を発生させない様に、既存の技術と機器をもって設計設置が容易である。【選択図】図1
