PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch machine monitoring device that correctly grasps the timing of operation start of a movable rail and performs compensation for an apparent strain without using a temperature sensor.SOLUTION: A switch machine monitoring device includes: strain detection means for detecting a strain of a switch adjuster, etc.; amplification means for amplifying a detection signal for each switching operation; recording means for recording the amplified detection signal in a time-series manner; extraction means for extracting a section in a state in which a nut of a switch adjuster is not in contact with an arm metal fitting (a switching load zero section) from the variation of a strain for each switching operation stored in the recording means; and calculation means for storing an average value of the switching load zero section as a magnitude of an apparent strain bias, performing a load zero point correction by subtracting the apparent strain bias from the stored strain measurement value, and converting the corrected strain to a conversion load from an approximation formula, etc. of a load on an object region to the strain acquired by an experiment, etc. in advance. The data after the conversion is subjected to the extraction, the average value calculation, the load zero point correction, and the conversion to the conversion load.

    【課題】可動レールの動作開始のタイミングを正しく把握し、かつ、見かけひずみの補償を、温度センサを用いずに行う転てつ機モニタ装置を提供する。【解決手段】転てつ機モニタ装置は、スイッチアジャスタ等のひずみを検出するひずみ検出手段と、転換動作ごとの検出信号を増幅する増幅手段と、増幅された検出信号を時系列的に記録する記録手段と、記録手段に記憶された転換動作毎のひずみの変化量から、スイッチアジャスタのナットと腕金具が接触していない状態の箇所(転換負荷ゼロ区間)を抽出する抽出手段と、転換負荷ゼロ区間の平均値を見かけひずみバイアスの大きさとして記憶し、その記憶したひずみ測定値から前記見かけひずみバイアスを引いて負荷零点補正を行い、事前に実験等で得たひずみに対する対象部位への荷重の近似式等から補正後のひずみを転換負荷に変換する演算手段とを備える。そして、転換毎のデータに対して、上記抽出、平均値算出、負荷零点補正並びに転換負荷への変換処理を実施する。【選択図】図4
