PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently reduce frictional resistance between a rotary member and a unit base over a long period in a mirror surface angle adjustment unit of a vehicular door mirror.SOLUTION: Rotation force of a motor 51 for lateral adjustment is transmitted to a rod A5 via a worm A1 and a rotary cylinder A2, and the rotation force is converted into longitudinal direction force and is transmitted to a mirror 2. The rotary cylinder A2 is brought into sliding contact with a rotary cylinder support recess A3 formed in a casing 50 of a mirror surface angle adjustment unit 5 and is rotatably supported. A peripheral surface groove section A32a for storing lubricant R and a bottom surface groove section A33a continuous to the peripheral surface groove section A32a are formed in a sliding contact inner peripheral surface A32 and a sliding contact bottom surface A33 of the rotary cylinder support recess A3.

    【課題】車両用ドアミラーの鏡面角度調整ユニットにおいて、回転部材とユニットベースとの間の摩擦抵抗を長期間に亘って充分に低減できるようにする。【解決手段】左右調整用モーター51の回転力を、ウォームA1及び回転筒A2を介してロッドA5に伝達し、前後方向の力に変換してミラー2に伝達する。この回転筒A2を、鏡面角度調整ユニット5のケーシング50に形成された回転筒支持凹部A3に摺接させ、回転可能に支持する。回転筒支持凹部A3の摺接内周面A32及び摺接底面A33に、潤滑剤Rを収容するための周面溝部A32aと、周面溝部A32aに連なる底面溝部A33aを形成する。【選択図】図4
