PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly cool a battery without reference to a wind direction nor a traveling speed.SOLUTION: A cooling structure for roof-mounted battery is characterized in that a battery is mounted on a roof panel 10a of a vehicle 10, a battery cover 13 which covers the battery is provided for the roof panel 10a, and an opening 13h for introducing cooling air cooling the battery is formed in the battery cover 13. The battery cover 13 has a top plate located above the battery, left and right side walls 13d, 13e which have upper edges continuous with side edges of the top plate and are extended downward to reach the roof panel 10a, and the opening 13h formed in one or both of the left and right side walls 13d, 13e.
