PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop the PWM (pulse width modulation) control of a radiation heater 30 when abnormal contact resistance X generates or when a contact object contacts a radiation heater 30a.SOLUTION: In an on-vehicle radiation heater control device 1, the electric current flowing from a battery to the radiation heaters 30 is controlled every heater so that the temperatures of the radiation heaters 30a to 30d repeatedly obtained by a microcomputer 20 have access to a target temperature TSET. The microcomputer 20 takes it that abnormal contact resistance X generates when it is determined that the resistance value R' of the contact resistance X is ι or higher to stop the PWM control of the radiation heater 30. Further, the microcomputer 20 stops the PWM control of the heater 30 similarly when it is determined that a contact object contacts the radiation heater 30a on the basis of a finite difference ΔT or a differential value (=δT/δt).

    【課題】異常である接触抵抗Xが発生したとき、或いは輻射ヒータ30aに被接触対象が触れたとき、輻射ヒータ30のPWM制御を停止する。【解決手段】車載用輻射ヒータ制御装置1では、マイクロコンピュータ20は、輻射ヒータ30a〜30dの温度を繰り返し求め、この求めた輻射ヒータ30a〜30dの温度を目標温度TSETに近づけるようにバッテリから輻射ヒータ30に流れる電流を輻射ヒータ毎に制御する。マイクロコンピュータ20は、接触抵抗Xの抵抗値R’がι以上であると判定したときには、異常である接触抵抗Xが発生したとして、輻射ヒータ30のPWM制御を停止する。マイクロコンピュータ20は、差分ΔTや微分値(=∂T/∂t)に基づいて輻射ヒータ30aに被接触対象が触れたと判定すると、輻射ヒータ30のPWM制御を停止する。【選択図】図5
