PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor shaft in which a bearing span is shortened while securing sufficient motor torque.SOLUTION: A wheel driving motor includes: a motor shaft (35) in which one side in an axial direction is formed as a small-diameter portion smaller than that of a center portion in the axial direction; a bearing (36b) for rotatably supporting the small-diameter portion (35b) of the axial direction one-side of the motor shaft; and a rotor (24) fixed on an outer peripheral surface (35j) of a large-diameter portion (35d) located on the axial-direction center portion of the motor shaft and opposed to a stator, to output driving force for rotating wheels from the motor shaft, where an axial-direction one end portion (24p) of the rotor is projected from an axial-direction one end face (35e) of the large-diameter portion to the axial direction small-diameter portion (35b) side.
