PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door buffer structure capable of positioning a cushion material to a proper position for each vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle door buffer structure 100 is a back door structure including a back door 104, a vehicle body panel which supports the back door so that the back door opens and closes, and cushion rubber 122 positioned between the back door and the vehicle body panel when the back door is closed. The vehicle door buffer structure 100 further includes: an annular resin bracket 130 which fits in an opening 142 provided on an inner panel 140 of the back door; and a protruding part 132 which protrudes from the cushion rubber and is inserted into an insertion hole 144 at a center of the bracket to be temporarily fastened. In the bracket, a diameter of the insertion hole is adjustable. The protruding part is moved while being held to adjust an insertion length of the protruding part. Further, the diameter of the hole is reduced to prohibit the protruding part from moving and determine the insertion length of the protruding part.
