PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for improving the precision in the detection of the velocity and position of a train by using a Doppler radar type sensor.SOLUTION: A train 1 is equipped on a bottom face 2 with a Doppler radar type sensor 20. The Doppler radar type sensor 20 is disposed at a predetermined inclination angle with respect to a track bed. The train 1 is equipped with a velocity calculation part 10 for estimating the velocity in the horizontal direction of the train 1, that is, an advance speed on the basis of the velocity component detected by the Doppler radar type sensor 20. The velocity calculation part 10 calculates the distance information and the velocity information on the basis of a reflection wave with respect to the reflected sent wave of an obliquely forward irradiation direction, and estimates the train velocity from set altitude information at the time when the Doppler radar type sensor 20 is installed. A position estimation part 16 of a positional information part 15 collates the point, at which a featuring point occurs in the tendency of the train speed, and the information of a position information recording part 17 thereby to specify the position of the train 1.

    【課題】ドップラーレーダー型のセンサを利用して列車の速度及び位置を検出する精度を向上させる技術を提供する。【解決手段】列車1は、底面2にドップラーレーダー型センサ20を備える。ドップラーレーダー型センサ20は、道床に対し所定の傾斜角をつけて設置されている。列車1はドップラーレーダー型センサ20で検出した速度成分をもとに列車1の水平方向の速度、つまり進行速度を推定する速度算出部10を備える。速度算出部10は、斜め前方照射方向の照射された送出波に対する反射波をもとに距離情報及び速度情報を算出し、ドップラーレーダー型センサ20を設置した際の設置高度情報より、列車速度を推定する。位置情報部15の位置推定部16は、列車速度の傾向に特徴点が生じる地点と位置情報記録部17の情報を照合し、列車1の位置を特定する。【選択図】図2
