PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power-assisted bicycle capable of suppressing the supply of electric power from a battery to an electric motor from stopping during vehicle traveling.SOLUTION: A battery case 40 includes a lock mechanism and a separation mechanism. The lock mechanism locks a battery 30 in a state of contact between a case terminal 43 and a battery terminal 31 at a time of mounting the battery 30 in a vehicle body. The separation mechanism separates the case terminal 43 from the battery terminal 31 when the lock mechanism is canceled.
