PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve friction resistance reduction effect in a friction reduction device of a ship.SOLUTION: A friction reduction device of a ship is provided with: a gas chamber 41 provided in a ship body; a division wall which divides the interior of the gas chamber 41 from the exterior of the ship body; an air outlet port 42 provided at a ship bottom outer plate 27 provided on the division wall; and a first guide plate 51 which is provided at the rear side of the ship body 10 in the air outlet port 42 and serves as a guide plate. In the structure, air, which is blown from the gas chamber 41 into water at the ship body exterior through the air outlet port 42, is flowed to the rear side of the ship body 10 by the guide member 51 and is less likely to move away from an outer surface of the ship body 10 or diffuses into a wide range. Thus, the surface of the ship body 10 is properly covered with air bubbles to improve friction resistance reduction effect.
【課題】船舶の摩擦低減装置において、摩擦抵抗低減効果を向上させることができる。【解決手段】船体の内部に設けられる気体室41と、気体室41内と船体の外方とを仕切る仕切壁と、仕切壁に設けられる船底外板27に設けられる空気吹き出し口42と、空気吹き出し口42における船体10の後方側に設けられるガイド部材としての第1ガイド板51とを設ける。これにより、気体室41から空気吹き出し口42に通って船体外部の水中に吹き出された空気は、ガイド部材51により船体の後方側に流れ、船体の外面から離れにくくなり、または広い範囲に拡散することとなり、船体の表面に適正に気泡で覆うことで摩擦抵抗低減効果を向上できる。【選択図】図4
