PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle battery control device with improved protection performance for connected devices installed on a battery and a charging circuit thereof.SOLUTION: A vehicle battery control device comprises: a charger 7 which charges an on-vehicle battery 2 with electric power supplied from an external power source; a heater 4 which heats the battery 2; and a step-down transformer 6 which supplies the electric power of the battery to the heater 4 after stepping down voltage thereof. The vehicle battery control device also has: a step down transformer control section 8A which supplies the electric power of the battery to the heater 4 by driving the step down transformer 6 before charging the battery 2 with the charger 7; and a charger control section 8B which drives the charger 7 after operating the step down transformer 6 and gradually shifts a source of the electric power supplied to the heater 4 from the battery to the external power source.

    【課題】車両のバッテリ制御装置に関し、バッテリ及びその充電回路上に設けられる接続機器の保護性を向上させる。【解決手段】車載のバッテリ2を外部電源から供給される電力で充電する充電器7と、バッテリ2を昇温させる加熱器4と、バッテリ電力を降圧して加熱器4に供給する降圧器6とを具備する車両のバッテリ制御装置において、バッテリ2を充電器7で充電する前に降圧器6を駆動してバッテリ電力を加熱器4に供給する降圧器制御部8Aを設ける。また、降圧器6の作動後に充電器7を駆動し、加熱器4に供給される電力をバッテリ電力から外部電源の電力へと徐々に変化させる充電器制御部8Bを設ける。【選択図】図2
