PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for vehicle body inclination control that improve ride comfort of a railway vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle body inclination control system includes: a first curve detection unit 23 which detects a curve of a track on the basis of track information data; a first command value calculation unit 24 which calculates a first inclination angle command value at which a vehicle body has a target inclination angle when travelling on the curve detected by the first curve detection unit 23; a second curve detection unit 25 which detects a curve of the track on the basis of travel speed and turning angular velocity of the railway vehicle; a second command value calculation unit 26 which calculates a second inclination angle command value at which lateral acceleration of the vehicle body approaches zero when travelling on the curve detected by the second curve detection unit 25; a determination unit 27 which determines that a detection result by the first curve detection unit 23 is erroneous, in the case that a curve is detected by the second curve detection unit 25 in a curve-undetected interval according to the first curve detection unit 23; and an inclination control unit 28 which controls a pneumatic spring such that the vehicle body is inclined on the basis of the second inclination angle command value, in the case that the above detection result is determined to be erroneous by the determination unit 27.

    【課題】鉄道車両の乗り心地を向上できる車体傾斜制御システム及び方法を提供する。【解決手段】軌道情報データに基づいて軌道の曲線を検出する第1の曲線検出部23と、第1の曲線検出部23で検出の曲線を走行時に車体が目標の傾斜角となるような第1の傾斜角指令値を算出する第1の指令値算出部24と、鉄道車両の走行速度と旋回角速度とに基づいて軌道の曲線を検出する第2の曲線検出部25と、第2の曲線検出部25で検出の曲線を走行時に車体の左右加速度が零に近づくような第2の傾斜角指令値を算出する第2の指令値算出部26と、第1の曲線検出部23による曲線未検出区間において第2の曲線検出部25で曲線が検出された場合、第1の曲線検出部23による検出結果が誤りと判定する判定部27と、判定部27で上記検出結果が誤りと判定された場合、第2の傾斜角指令値に基づいて車体を傾斜させるよう空気ばねを制御する傾斜制御部28とを備える。【選択図】 図2
