PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acceleration measuring device for an elevator capable of utilizing a small-sized and low-priced triaxial acceleration sensor compatibly with contribution to improvement in measurement accuracy of acceleration of a car.SOLUTION: The acceleration measuring device includes: a casing 10 including a first plane 11 and a second plane 12 which are orthogonal to each other; triaxial acceleration sensors 20A and 20B capable of detecting the acceleration in directions of first to third axes which are orthogonal with one another; and an arithmetic processing unit 40 which handles only the acceleration in the directions of the first and second axes among the first to third axes. The triaxial acceleration sensors 20A and 20B take an attitude in which the first axis is made orthogonal to the first plane 11 and the second axis is made orthogonal to the second plane 12. The arithmetic processing unit 40 processes as a measurement only the acceleration that is detected in the direction of the first axis in the case where the casing 10 is installed on a floor of the car while turning the first plane 11 downward, and processes as a measurement the acceleration detected in the direction of the second axis in the case where the casing 10 is installed on the floor of the car while turning the second plane 12 downward.

    【課題】小型で安価な3軸加速度センサを利用することと、乗かごの加速度の計測精度の向上に貢献することとを両立させることができるエレベータの加速度計測装置の提供。【解決手段】互いに直交する第1平面11と第2平面12を備える筐体10と、互いに直交する第1〜第3軸の方向における加速度を検出可能な3軸加速度センサ20A,20Bと、第1〜第3軸のうち第1,第2軸の方向における加速度のみを扱う演算処理装置40とを備え、3軸加速度センサ20A,20Bは第1軸を第1平面11に対し直交させ、かつ第2軸を第2平面12に対し直交させた姿勢を成し、演算処理装置40は、筐体10が第1平面11を下向きにして乗かごの床に設置された場合に第1軸の方向において検出される加速度のみを計測値として処理し、筐体10が第2平面12を下向きにして乗かごの床に設置された場合に第2軸の方向において検出される加速度を計測値として処理する。【選択図】図1
