PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inter-vehicle distance measuring device that can estimate a horizontal axis deviation amount of the own device without using angle information of a preceding vehicle or peripheral object, and can reduce the cost with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An axis deviation estimation unit 27 acquires a maximum detection distance of a preceding vehicle 10A from a tracking processing unit 23, acquires the own vehicle turning radius at that time from an own vehicle information calculation unit 24, and calculates the preceding vehicle direction at the time of the maximum detection distance. Furthermore, by accumulating the data into a graph, the horizontal axis deviation amount of the own vehicle is estimated on the basis of the direction of the preceding vehicle in which the maximum detection distance is longest.

    【課題】先行車または周辺物体の角度情報を用いることなく自装置の水平方向の軸ずれ量を推定することができ、簡単な構成でコスト削減が可能な車間距離計測装置を得る。【解決手段】軸ずれ推定部27は、追尾処理部23から先行車10Aの最大検知距離を取得すると共に、その時の自車両旋回半径を自車両情報算出部24から取得し、最大検知距離の時の先行車方向を算出する。さらに、それらのデータを蓄積しグラフ化することにより、最大検知距離が最大となる先行車方向から自装置の水平方向の軸ずれ量を推定する。【選択図】図1
