PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device capable of preventing inclusion of air bubbles to between a heat conduction sheet and a cooling plate and between the heat conduction sheet and a bottom face of a battery cell, and of keeping the battery cell within an optimum temperature range, and to provide a work machine comprising such a power storage device.SOLUTION: A power storage device comprises: a plurality of battery cells 9a whose bottom faces are lined up in one direction to be in parallel with each other; a cooling plate 11 placed at the bottom face side of the battery cells 9a; and a heat conduction sheet 10a placed between the bottom faces of the battery cells 9a and the cooling plate 11. To the heat conduction sheet 10a, a notch 17 extending from a part contacted with the bottom faces of the battery cells 9a to a part not contacted with the bottom faces of the battery cells 9a is formed on a surface at a side that presses the battery cell 9a.
