PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a modified polymer which provides a rubber composition being excellent in low heat generation and has excellent productivity; a rubber composition which contains this modified polymer; and a tire which is produced by using this rubber composition.SOLUTION: A modified polymer is obtained by making a modifier having a nitrone group and a carboxy group react with a conjugated diene polymer free from a tetra-substituted olefin and/or tri-substituted olefin. A rubber composition contains this modified polymer. A tire is produced by using this rubber composition.

    【課題】低発熱性に優れるゴム組成物を実現でき生産性に優れる変性ポリマー、これを含有するゴム組成物、及び当該ゴム組成物を用いて製造されるタイヤの提供。【解決手段】4置換オレフィン及び/又は3置換オレフィンを含まない共役ジエン重合体に対して、ニトロン基及びカルボキシ基を有する変性剤を反応させることによって得られる変性ポリマー、これを含有するゴム組成物、並びに当該ゴム組成物を用いて製造されるタイヤ。【選択図】なし
