PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric propulsion passenger ship which has taken measures for suppressing damage to a minimum level, in the case of an accident.SOLUTION: An electric propulsion passenger ship 10 has a passenger room 12, and a power source disposed in a power room 20 disposed on a rear side of the passenger room 12 and divided with the passenger room. On an upper wall part of a wall part of a ship body forming the power room, a hatch 23 whose intensity to air blast is low relative to that of the wall part, is provided. In addition, the ship body is preferably made of aluminum.
