PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor driving device of an electric vehicle capable of allowing the vehicle to reduce its speed preventing its wheels from locking, and to run at an appropriate speed, while achieving cost reduction.SOLUTION: A motor driving device of an electric vehicle comprises a power generation brake control part 24, which generates a brake force by short-circuiting a motor coil to substitute a driving control part 23 for control. The power generation brake control part 24 comprises: a switch 4; driving wheel revolution speed detection means 26; driven wheel revolution speed detection means 27; driving wheel reference revolution speed calculation means 28; and duty ratio control means 29. The duty ratio control means 29 controls a duty ratio, which is a ratio of a short-circuit time to a whole operation time of the power generation brake control part 24, so as to control a revolution of a driving wheel 7 detected by the driving wheel revolution speed detection means 26 to follow the reference revolution speed.

    【課題】 コスト低減を図ったうえで、車輪がロックされることなく車両を減速することができ、且つ、適切な速度で走行することができる電気自動車のモータ駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】 この電気自動車のモータ駆動装置は、駆動制御部23による制御に代えて、モータコイルを短絡させて制動力を発生させる発電ブレーキ制御部24を設ける。発電ブレーキ制御部24は、スイッチ4と、駆動輪回転数検出手段26と、従動輪回転数検出手段27と、駆動輪参考回転数算出手段28と、デューティ比制御手段29とを有する。デューティ比制御手段29は、駆動輪回転数検出手段26で検出される駆動輪7の回転数を、参考回転数に追従させるように、発電ブレーキ制御部24の作動時間全体に対する短絡させる時間の割合であるデューティ比を制御する。【選択図】 図5
