PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle power supply system capable of extending the life of a battery.SOLUTION: A vehicle power supply system 1B comprises: a first secondary battery 13a; a second secondary battery 13b connected to the first secondary battery 13a in parallel, and lower in output density and higher in energy density than the first secondary battery 13a; a controller 30 obtaining an average value of a first capacity maintenance factor that is a ratio of a current electric capacity to an initial electric capacity of the first secondary battery 13a and a second capacity maintenance factor that is a ratio of a current electric capacity to an initial electric capacity of the second secondary battery 13b as a total battery capacity maintenance factor, and determining battery replacement timing if the total battery capacity maintenance factor is not less than a preset replacement reference value (first reference value); and a maintenance request lamp notifying a user that the battery replacement timing is determined.

    【課題】電池の寿命を延ばすことが可能な車両用電源システムを提供する。【解決手段】車両用電源システム1Bは、第1二次電池13aと、この第1二次電池13aに対して並列に接続され、第1二次電池13aよりも出力密度が小さくかつエネルギー密度が大きい第2二次電池13bと、第1二次電池13aの初期の電気容量に対する現在の電気容量の割合である第1容量維持率と、前記第2二次電池13bの初期の電気容量に対する現在の電気容量の割合である第2容量維持率との平均値を電池トータルの容量維持率として求め、さらに電池トータルの容量維持率が予め定められた交換基準値(第1基準値)以下のときに、電池交換時期と判定するコントローラ30と、電池交換時期であると判定されたことを報知するメンテナンス要求ランプを含む。【選択図】図8
