PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mine work machine capable of detecting a vehicle and measuring the distance to the vehicle even when a part thereof is blocked.SOLUTION: The mine work machine includes: an environment detection part 12 capable of detecting a piece of three-dimensional image information; an image local feature detection part 14 that detects an image local feature of the vehicle from the image information detected by the environment detection part 12; a vehicle determination section 17 that determines whether an object detected in the image information is the vehicle based on the image local feature information detected by the image local feature detection part 14; and an inter-vehicle distance detection section 18 that, when the vehicle determination section 17 determines the object as vehicle, detects an inter-vehicle distance to the vehicle which is detected in the image information based on the image information detected by the environment detection part 12.
