PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser radar device, of a simple structure though, which is capable of detecting an object present at a great distance with high accuracy and capable of detecting an object present at a greater distance.SOLUTION: A polygon mirror 4b is a trihedral polygon, one surface being configured as a long distance mirror surface 4e and two surfaces being configured as short distance mirror surfaces 4e. The three mirror surfaces 4e are configured so that te scanning angles are equal, the center of gravity of a flat surface 4f at a front edge of the polygon mirror 4b being located at a place off the center of rotation of the polygon mirror 4b, and an area ratio of the long distance mirror surface 4e and the short distance mirror surfaces 4e being set to twofold or greater. When the polygon mirror 4b is disposed in a posture in which the mirror surfaces 4e and the front edge surface 4f face downward, an angle α formed by the front edge surface 4f and the long distance mirror surface 4e is set to become larger than an angle β formed by the front edge surface 4f and the short distance mirror surfaces 4e. The polygon mirror 4b is configured so that an axis of rotation 4d does not protrude from the front edge of the polygon mirror 4b.

    【課題】簡単な構成で、遠距離に存在する物体を精度良く検出するとともに、より遠距離に存在する物体の検出を可能なレーザレーダ装置を提供する。【解決手段】ポリゴンミラー4bは3面ポリゴンであり、一つが遠距離用のミラー面4e、二つが近距離用のミラー面4eとして構成されている。三つのミラー面4eの走査角度が均等となるよう構成され、ポリゴンミラー4bの前端部の平面4fの重心が当該ポリゴンミラー4bの回転中心から外れた箇所に位置し、遠距離用のミラー面4eと近距離用のミラー面4eの面積比は2倍以上に設定されている。ミラー面4eおよび前端面4fが下向きになる姿勢に配置された場合に、前端面4fと遠距離用のミラー面4eとがなす角度α前端面4fと近距離用のミラー面4eとがなす角度βよりも大きくなるよう設定されている。回転軸4dが当該ポリゴンミラー4bの前端部からは突出しないよう構成されている。【選択図】図3
