PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device for a vehicular inverter capable of improving cooling efficiency of the inverter.SOLUTION: A cooling device 1 for a vehicular inverter is configured to contact a vehicular inverter 4 including plural inverter elements 4a-4c, and cool the inverter 4 by cooling water 100 which is distributed via a cooling water channel 3. Part of the cooling water channel 3 comprises: drain water storage means 12 disposed to contact the inverter 4 via a radiator 2 for air cooling of the cooling water 100, and storing drain water 11 generated in an air conditioning system 7 for air conditioning in a vehicle by circulating the coolant for air conditioning; and spraying means 15 for spraying water W supplied from the drain water storage means 12 to a surface of the cooling water channel 3 disposed immediately in front of the inverter 4 for cooling.

    【課題】インバータの冷却効率を向上させることのできる車両用インバータの冷却装置を提供する。【解決手段】複数のインバータ素子4a〜4cを含む車両用のインバータ4に接し、冷却水路3を介して流通する冷却水100によってインバータ4を冷却する車両用インバータの冷却装置1であって、冷却水路3の一部は、冷却水100を空冷するラジエータ2を経てインバータ4に接するように配設され、空調用冷媒を循環させて車内空調を行う空調システム7で発生されるドレン水11を貯留するドレン水貯留手段12と、ドレン水貯留手段12から供給される水Wを、インバータ4の直前に位置する冷却水路3の表面に対して噴射して冷却する噴射手段15とを備える。【選択図】図1
